RHC Community, It should come as no surprise to hear that Congress is gridlocked on important issues. Despite this slow pace, NARHC’s government affairs team is frequently on Capitol Hill directly advocating for policy changes that support RHCs. However, the most meaningful way to gain a member of Congress’ support for an issue is to hear firsthand how it will impact their constituents—this means the most important voice is your own!

This summer, we will be hosting a Policy Summit in Washington, D.C., where NARHC members will have an opportunity to advocate for the issues most impacting their RHC directly with members of Congress and their staff. Join us, and individuals from RHCs around the country, for a two-day summit to have your voice heard by decision makers.

This event does not have a registration fee, although attendees will be responsible for their travel, lodging, and other expenses.

On Tuesday, June 25th, attendees will gather for an afternoon of education on NARHC’s current priorities, tips for effective advocacy, and more from NARHC’s DC staff and special guests, followed by an evening of dinner and networking.

Attendees will participate in meetings on Capitol Hill throughout the day on Wednesday, June 26th, before traveling home. NARHC staff will assist participants in scheduling these meetings!

Rural Health Clinics deserve a seat in more conversations in Washington, D.C., this event is an important step forward in ensuring policymakers hear and listen to your voices. Spots are limited, sign up to join us today!

Please contact Sarah Hohman, NARHC’s Director of Government Affairs at Sarah.Hohman@narhc.org with any questions. We look forward to advocating with you.
