RHC Regulatory Updates and Good Faith Estimate Policy
Dear Michelle, Per the No Surprises Act (NSA), all health care providers, since January 1, 2022, are required to issue Good Faith Estimates (GFEs) to uninsured and self-pay patients who request the summary of expected charges and who schedule an appointment 3 or more days in advance. Additional provisions related to GFEs are set to go into effect January 1, 2023. We encourage you to join us for an upcoming webinar on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022, at 3 PM ET where Nathan Baugh and Sarah Hohman will provide an update of new RHC regulatory provisions as well as an overview of current and upcoming Good Faith Estimate requirements.
