MORNING BLOCK: Getting Compliant & Staying Compliant
8:30 am – 9:00 am
Rally Your Team
Being a leader in the RHC can feel overwhelming at times. Most managers wear multiple hats. We are going to kick off our day by discussing different leadership styles and how to rally your team through a collaborative mindset.
9:00 am – 10:15 am
Understanding the RHC
What does the RHC program require? This session is going to dive into the regulatory requirements for the RHC, review updates that impact the daily operations of the program, and bring clarity about what is REQUIRED vs. what is RECOMMENDED.
10:30 am – 11:45 am
Documented Compliance
Document what you do and do what you document! How do you determine if the clinic is following policy? This session is going to break down the expectations for your policy manual and the difference between collaborative and administrative medical record reviews.
11:45 am -12:30 pm
LUNCH – will be provided
AFTERNOON BLOCK: Getting Caught Up & Staying Caught Up
12:30 pm – 1:45 pm
What’s Next?
Now that the Public Health Emergency is officially over, this session will give you the chance to gauge where you are and address those elements that have fallen off your radar! We will discuss where the clinic is in their emergency plan testing cycle, touch base on program evaluation reporting and discuss corrective actions the clinic can take to get caught up.
2:00 pm – 3:15 pm
What’s New?
This session will discuss what is new (and old but still important!) with Medicare cost reporting, Michigan Medicaid reporting, and other hot topics in the world of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. Learn how our cost focus is changing and what elements we should be focusing on as we bring in the era of clinic specific caps for provider based RHCs.

3:15 pm – 4:00 pm
Staying On Track

Now that you are caught up, how do you stay that way? This session will review how to streamline processes at your facility and overall organizational skills to help you maintain momentum and keep you on track.
