NARHC is Working Hard for You

May 6, 2021

Dear RHC,

NARHC is your voice! If you are not yet a NARHC member, please consider becoming a member at this link: https://www.narhc.org/narhc/Become_a_Member.asp

There are three areas coming soon that will impact RHCs;

  1. RHC Vaccine allocation (eligibility of rHCs to receive direct allocation of Codiv Vaccines from the Federal Government)
  2. RHC Vaccine Education/Outreach (A grant that RHCs can apply for)
  3. RHC Covid Mitigation ($100,000 funding deposited to every RHC very soon)

Very soon every RHC will receive a $100,000 allocation from the Covid Testing and Mitigation Fund. This money will be deposited into the clinics account the same way as the previous funding was (it will just show up in your bank account). This funding will need to be spent on Covid testing or mitigation to slow the spread of the virus.

IMPORTANT: In order to receive upcoming $100,000 funding, you must already be reporting on how you spent the initial $49,461.42 Covid testing money at this link https://www.rhccovidreporting.com/. If a clinic has not reported, then they will not receive this current funding of $100,000. A clinic can begin reporting if they have not already done so to qualify to receive the $100,000.

It is also understood that there are 1,730 small rural hospitals that will be receiving $230,000 per hospital.
