The NHSC Site Application Program Has Been Extended Until July 1, 2021

May 25, 2021
The NHSC site application program has been extended until July 1, 2021. If you meet the qualifications and are interested in applying, there is still time for our firm to assist you.

Foundation requirements that must be in place at the time of site application are:

  • Clinic must be in a current HPSA area
  • The clinic must have evidence of an active Full Sliding fee (SFS) process for a minimum of 6 months. If you do not qualify at this time for this reason, then you can get started on implementing a SFS now to be ready for next year’s NHSC cycle when it opens in the Spring. If you’re not sure how to prepare a SFS, we can help you – just let us know!

As part of the NHSC Site application process, our firm can assist with all the areas of requirements, such as:

  • Sliding Fee Process
  • Specific required policies for NHSC program
  • Proper signage for NHSC program
  • Site Agreement Form
  • Data collection tools

HSA will work with you in providing all required documents, upload the documents to the program site, monitor all communications from the program site and assist as needed through final approval of your site as a NHSC facility!
